DIABLo is a compact, light, strong, double ended, easy to use device.
Primarily it is intended to be used by First Responders, but there are numerous other applications.
Brightly coloured to ensure visibility after deployment.
It helps turn the vehicle into a safe and stable operating platform, prior to other work.
The concept is very simple. When any plug-in Hybrid or Electric vehicle is connected to a charging point, the vehicle automatically remove any selected forward or reverse drive, and the brakes are applied. These two conditions prevent the vehicle from moving whilst plugged in. DIABLo simulates this charging operation, thereby creating the stable platform described above.
DIABLo does not contain complicated electrical or electronic circuitry that may malfunction or provide an unreliable vehicle status report.

More product information..

Both ends of the DIABLo device are male charge plugs: Type 1 and Type 2. These are configured to simulate a normal ‘live’ charge plug but with NO RISK of current flowing out of the vehicle.
Type 1 & 2 connections covers every ‘plug in’ car sold in the UK.
As DIABLo neither uses or transfers any power, it is completely safe and reliable in operation.
As well as First Responder use, other customers may quickly find use for it i.e. Roadside Recovery teams, Managers of large fleet workshops etc
DIABLo is not trapped in the vehicle once deployed, meaning it can quickly and easily be used on multi vehicles at a single location.
After deployment, the device prevents any occupant from accidentally throttling the vehicle.
If the vehicle is slightly older, meaning it may have a more traditional lever handbrake, then DIABLo still takes the vehicle out of ‘Ready’ or ‘Drive’, and the vehicle wheels are chocked to prevent movement.
If after operations it is necessary and safe to move the vehicle, simply cycling through the normal vehicle lock, unlock and start procedure is enough to resume normal function.
The device will also work on vehicles fitted with CCS Fast charger style charge ports.
DIABLo is getting recognition from numerous UK Fire & Rescue organisations, with orders already placed after successful trials.
